Code of Ethics & Practice

1) All EMDR therapists accessible through this website operate as Independent Practitioners and adhere to the Ethical Framework for Good Practice established by their respective professional membership organisations.

2) All independent EMDR practioners sourced via this website have completed the necessary training and achieved the appropriate qualification to practice as an EMDR therapist.

3) Please check with the independent EMDR therapist concerning their cancellation policy regarding cancelling or changing any arranged appointments.

Complaints Procedure

Any complaints concerning services delivered by EMDR-Birmingham should in the first instance be in writing and addressed to the Director. On receipt of complaints a letter of confirmation will be sent, and the complaint will be forwarded to the internal verifier for consideration. A response to the complaint will be forwarded within 21 days of receipt.
