The Bev Taylor Associates Team
We provide therapy for a wide range of trauma related issues, including presentations consistent with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD. Our EMDR therapists and psychotherapists will support you addressing a range of associated conditions, including Depression, Anxiety, Stress, OCD, ADHD, ASD, as well as the psychological impact of domestic abuse, sexual abuse, bereavement, personal injury, road traffic collisions, chronic pain and more.
EMDR-Birmingham is a private treatment service which provides access to EMDR therapists working in clinics in the Midlands and in a selected location in London. We also work online. We take referrals from individuals, organisations, solicitors, GPs, and case managers.
Our EMDR therapists are professionally trained by recognised EMDR organisations and adhere strictly to established codes of conduct and ethical standards within their practice.

Bev Taylor is an experienced therapist and manager, overseeing a team of EMDR Counsellors and Psychotherapists. She is an Integrative CBT Therapist, Counsellor, and EMDR-trained psychological trauma therapist, with experience in working across a range of complex emotional and trauma-related presentations.
She is a registered member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) with over 5000 hours of supervised clinical practice as a trauma therapist. Bev specialises in EMDR and supports individuals dealing with a variety of challenges. These include PTSD, complex PTSD, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, bereavement, relationship difficulties, domestic violence, coercion, substance use, and low self-esteem.
Drawing on Internal Family Systems (IFS), Person-Centred Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and resilience-informed mind-body techniques, Bev aims to foster safety and self-regulation in her clients, all of which are essential elements in trauma recovery.

Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy helps speed up this natural healing process, so you don’t have to wait as long to feel better. By gently guiding you through desensitisation and reprocessing, EMDR helps turn emotional wounds into feelings of relief and resolution.
